TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh will hold a public meeting Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Municipal Office Council Chambers at 917 Lesperance Road to consider a proposed Zoning By-law amendment pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. Please see below for information on how to provide comments or participate in the public meeting.

A Zoning By-law amendment application (Application/File: D19 5485WA) has been submitted for a vacant 0.77 hectare (1.9 acre) parcel of land located north-west of the Walker Road and McCord Lane intersection (5485 Walker Road) (see Key Map on reverse side for location). The purpose of the proposed amendment is to rezone the property from “Hamlet Commercial Zone (CH)” to a site-specific “Hamlet Commercial (CH-6)” to permit the sale and service of motorcycles and other powersport vehicles such as ATVs, jet skis and dirt bikes. The subject property is designated “General Commercial” in the Official Plan.
