Starting Monday, August 17, construction will begin on new improvements at Southfield Park. The park will be closed and there will be no access to the park until construction is completed. Residents are advised to avoid the area.

The 2026 Town of Tecumseh Municipal and School Board Election will be held October 26, 2026.

Vote online or by phone starting September 28 at 10:00AM up until October 26, 2026 at 8:00PM.

The Town of Tecumseh on March 23, 2026 issued the Town's Notice of Municipal Election pursuant to s. 40 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996

Key Election Dates

The only methods for voting in Tecumseh will be internet and telephone voting.

If you are on the Voters' List, you will receive a Voter Information Letter prior to this date which will provide you with the Personal Identification Number (PIN) you will need, as well as detailed instructions on how to cast your vote.

Voting ends at 8:00PM.

Elected candidates will take the oath of office before assuming their seat. The Inaugural Meeting of the new Council is scheduled for November 17, 2026, at 6:00PM at the Ciociaro Club, located at 3745 N Talbot Road, in Tecumseh.  This meeting will be livestreamed for the public on the Town website.
